Prayer is a crucial part of who we are, and we invite you to join us in prayer in any or all of the following ways:

Sunday Morning Prayer Ministry

Our trained and vetted prayer ministry teams are available to pray for you and any needs you have after services each Sunday. Come receive support and encouragement through prayer!

Weekly Corporate Prayer

For the last 15 years, weekly corporate prayer has been critical to the life and health of Vintage. The vision for this time continues to be what it has been historically and includes the following:

  • A brief time to share what we believe God is calling us to pray into together, as well as any specific felt needs in the body.

  • A time of intercession to pray for the things that are named and to continue listening for what is on God’s heart.

  • A time to share what we feel God is speaking during prayer.

We invite you to join us Sunday mornings at 9am in the Vintage offices and Monday mornings at 9am in the Community Room! There is freedom to pray quietly or out loud as you feel led. 

Healing Prayer

We recognize that difficulties, disappointments, hardships, and sickness are a part of life and that such painful experiences can cause wounds in each of us. In the midst of such trials, we often fail to see that God cares deeply about us and everything we are experiencing.

At Vintage 242, we believe God is good and desires for us to live healthy and whole lives. We believe He invites us to come to Him to receive hope, encouragement, and healing. We believe He moves when His people pray and ask. This is why prayer is a priority at Vintage and why we have set aside time to specifically pray and ask God for not only physical but also emotional and spiritual healing.

No matter your need, we would love to pray for you. We have a team of people who love Jesus, believe He moves in power, and are trained to lovingly come alongside people in prayer. Although each of us can approach God on our own, the prayers of another person are sometimes what we need to experience compassion, comfort, and breakthrough. Would you let us pray for you?

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • Check out our Events Page to find dates for upcoming dates for Healing Prayer. We typically set aside time to pray for healing on the first Sunday of each month after our service.

  • Feel free to drop by anytime between 11:30am & 12:30pm.

  • Childcare is not available, but your children are welcome to come with you.

  • Your prayer request is completely confidential.

James 5:16 instructs us to “pray for one another, that you may be healed.” Mark 16:18 tells us that those who believe in Jesus “will lay their hands on the sick and they will recover.” Acts 10:38 says that Jesus “went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.”

Vintage Prayer Ministry

Do you have a prayer request? We have a group of people who consider it a privilege to pray for you and your loved ones. Send us your prayer requests, and we will make sure people are praying for your need! If you would like personal prayer, we also have prayer ministry teams available to pray throughout the week.
