Vintage 242 Missionaries
Kurt and Eva
We are the Miller family! We have lived in the Middle East for the past 12 years with our three children (and one on the way). Over the years, we have been involved in different ministry expressions. However, currently, we are currently involved in BAM, or “business as mission”. Three years ago, we started a coffee company, and since then, we have expanded our business presence into two cities. Through business, we have created a natural context for trust and discipleship, doing day-to-day, normal life with employees and customers. After years of seeking to build relationships and pursue discipleship, we feel we are in a more fruitful season of our lives here. We would love prayer for greater ministry opportunity in our business context. While we want to steward a business well and see it thrive, our heart’s desire is that this platform would create a broad and effectual door for the Gospel to go forth into the hearts of our friends here. Thank you for your prayers and support!
Geoff and Sherry
Geoff and Sherry live and work in the inner city of Melbourne, Australia. Surrounded by the hustle and bustle of the city’s four million residents the Maddock’s seek to love and serve those left behind and cultivate a sense of place for all city dwellers (www.urbanseed.org). They started in this new context in late 2016. See this article for more information about their work with Urban Seed.
Between 1999 and 2016, Geoff and Sherry lived in the inner city of Lexington, Kentucky. With their son, Isaac (born 2003), they worked as missionaries with a focus on neighborhood outreach and service. Their wider involvement in transformation committed them to service in neighborhood associations, non-profit boards, city government committees, and local food economy initiatives. For many years they operated an urban farm on the lot next to their home —the 4th St Farm. This 1/10 of an acre property raised beds for vegetables, chickens, bees, and more than 20 fruit trees.
The support for their vocation in mission comes from friends, family, and several churches in Georgia.
They are authors of “Sowing Seeds of Shalom in the Neighborhood” (available on Amazon for Kindle) It is the first briefing paper from the Summit of the International Society for Urban Mission (ISUM) and offers theological frameworks, principles, disciplines and practical suggestions for Christians who long to be involved in neighborhood transformation.
Jacob and Tatum
We have been serving as the Campus Leaders for YWAM (Youth With A Mission) Atlanta, and in April we will become the Directors of all of YWAM Atlanta! Our heart is to train, equip, and mobilize young people to the nations. Atlanta is an international city - especially where we are on the east side of the city. With a focus on evangelism and Bible based discipleship, we feel called to minister to “the nations” that are here in the city, while also training and sending people internationally to serve the unreached. We also have the unique position of partnering with Renew Outreach and EBPN to help equip other YWAM communities with technology, tools, and strategies for Bible distribution and engagement among unreached people groups around the world.
Please pray with us as we are working to grow our YWAM team. We need more workers! Also pray for us as we step into this new role of leadership - for wisdom, discernment, and vision as we lead YWAM Atlanta.
We’ve also just released a book about our family - Where Did TJ Go? It is a book for kids about grief, loss, and the hope of Heaven. Please pray that this book would minister to many families walking through infant loss or miscarriage, and that it would remind them of our eternal hope in Jesus.
We love our Vintage family and we’re so thankful for y’all!!

Scott and Rebecca
The Crawfords are working to build a community of people in Jacksonville, FL who gather together regularly to study God’s word, build up, and encourage one another in their faith. Together with those in the community, they desire to reach others on the local bases and create a community of faith among the military in Jacksonville.
Scott and Rebecca are members of Cadence International, an “evangelical mission agency dedicated to reaching the military communities of the United States and of the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ. Since 1954, Cadence has grown from a small, fledgling mission to an organization with over 200 staff who work in over 60 locations worldwide.”
“Cadence serves all branches of the military in stateside and overseas locations. Comprised of 1.4 million active-duty personnel, the U.S. military community has proven to be one of the largest, most responsive sub-cultures today. Cadence ministers not only to military personnel, but to their spouses and dependents as well.”
“Additionally, over the years, partnerships have been created that have given Cadence a unique role in evangelizing and training people in the armed forces of foreign countries.” Click on their image for more information about their ministry and Cadence International!
Tammy
Tammy moved to South Asia in 1998 and joined with two local believers there to start a ministry for children in extreme risk situations. In that season of prayer and preparation, K-Family was born. Through trials, challenges, losses, miracles, victories and joy this ministry has become a true family for 46 children. What started out as a model family-style children’s home has grown into much more.
Many single moms and widows tried to seek admission for their children into K-Homes after the death of their husbands. God led the K-Homes team in a different direction as they made the decision to only take in the most extremely desperate cases of children without families. A new creative solution was offered to the mothers in need, and the K-Family Support Initiative was founded. Presently, K-ministries is supporting over 250 children from single parent homes. These children can stay with their biological family. K-Family Support Initiative was formed to ensure that these moms would be equipped and empowered to raise their own children. This includes good schools, healthcare, job training, life skills and community support and encouragement. K-ministries has seen many single moms and their children come to Christ through this effort. Over 400 children and 250 single mothers have been directly helped through this exciting K-Family Support Initiative.
Along with this, K-Ministries has been able to pioneer several after school centers for at-risk children, throughout the city as well as a tailoring training center to equip vulnerable young women with marketable skills.
K-ministry also launched a sending agency for the young people in the community who feel called into full time ministry. This work is called Sons & Daughters, with 17 full time missionaries/cross-cultural workers spread out over South Asia.
Out of this unique community, several other amazing works have been started, with some of the grown children of K-Homes in charge, including a dynamic popular cafe/coffeehouse, a virtual services business, and a school!
Tammy was forced to relocate to USA with her youngest adopted daughter recently. She is actively working to get back to that side of the world to be accessible to the community there. She also is working towards setting up a missionary/cross cultural worker respite center in South Asia.
